Do you have time?

Do you have time for what you want to do?

Do you have time?

Let me ask you a question, do you have time in your life to do what you truly love doing? Most of us would probably answer no. We all have responsibilities and unexpected things that happen to us. Well least they do to me!

If you would admit it, if there is something you truly want to do really badly, you find a way to do it correct? Such as calling a friend or family member.

I want to remind you all that even though the Lord has called us for His Glory, and do His will, He also wants us to enjoy life. But how can we when we feel like life is too busy, and we’re always on the go?

Do you have time

This is a little something called rest! We need to set aside a day or a few hours during the week, to make time for ourselves. That is besides reading the Bible and praying each day. I’m taking more along the lines of reading a good book, going swimming, or another hobby you may enjoy. Life isn’t just made for all work and no enjoyment.

If you’re anything like me, I feel like I have no time at all to do what I love. Here’s the part where I need to plan what I want or love doing into my daily schedule. For example, I have this coloring app that I love to color in, when I first found out about it, I did it all the time, but then life got busy again, and I stopped fitting it into my schedule. What I need to do is write it into my day, even if it’s the last 10 minutes of my day! I believe that by doing things we love, it slows down a little of our stress that we oftentimes feel from day to day.

Do you have time

Reading and praying should be enjoyed, but if you feel that desire to do something extra that you’ve always wanted to do, start planning. Even if you have to work your way up to that goal, but just remember life will always happen, so that’s why I strongly encourage you to work it into your day/week.

If you are burned out in life, and it feels so lonely and depressing, I want you to think about making some changes. You are the only one who can, and with you and Jesus you guys can change your heart and mind together. But it’s a team effort!

Once you’ve come up with a plan, I would LOVE to hear about it, so I can try to use it in my own life. With the body of Christ, we are one! You can comment in the comments, or write to me by clicking here.

1 Corinthians 12:27 Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it.

May the Lord bless and keep you,

Allison Anderson
