Why is life so hard?
Most of us in life have hardships in life. Like stress and family issues; the list can go on. Sometimes we can even slip into depression and stop praying or reading the Word. Others may tell us, “I tried that religion thing, but it didn’t work for me.” And you know what I tell them? I hate religion too, I hate every part of it. After agreeing I hate it, then I tell them, even though I hate religion, for me it’s about a relationship with my God. The one who created me. I explained how God doesn’t promise a easy life, but He does promise us to be with us through the storms. Some of you still might be thinking, why is life so hard? Why does God have to make it so difficult on me?
Why is life so hard
My heart goes out to you if this is you today. Some of you have gone through so much that my heart breaks into pieces for you. Hang tight my dear brothers and sisters. You know when I’m going through a dark storm in my life people will ask me, “would you really be as close to God right now, if you hadn’t been going through this?” And probably the truth is no, but in that moment in time that’s not what we need to hear is it? That’s why I choose my friends carefully these days. Even though they had a point, it’s about timing it correctly.
Why is life so hard
To tell you the truth, if it weren’t for God, my PERSONAL God in my life I wouldn’t have the strength that I have today. He is my EVERYTHING in my every being. When things go wrong, I run to my Heavenly Daddy. The moment I lose sight of Him, I lose everything. Why? Because my focus is on the pain, and not Him. The one that comforts me, the one that gives me peace, the one that breaths life in my very being.
So is life living? I believe so! As long as you have your creator in your life, every moment is worth it. But they key is fixing your eyes on Him, so your not focus on the situation on hand. How do you do that? By going to the Word of God, going to church, and have likeminded friends to encourage you. Because let me tell you a secret; You cannot do life alone. Jesus went through so many hardships in life, and He had His disciples there with Him. Jesus probably in fact went through even more than we do. This is one of the many reasons why we can relate to Him, and He can feel our pain, because He Himself felt it.
John 14:27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.
